As I reflect on the remarkable milestones of 2023, I am filled with an overwhelming sense of pride for the profound impact Women Empowering Nations has achieved. 🥹 I remember dreaming about this organization as I sat in classrooms at the University of Oklahoma and Syracuse University hoping to one day be a catalyst for young women globally. This year, we celebrated 14 years of mission-driven work to provide exposure, development, and mentorship for girls of color to accelerate their path to executive leadership. 🎉 This all would not be possible without the generosity of our partners and investors who are featured here. Meet GLOW Global cohort member Abigail Ayimbisa from Ghana as she reflects on her 2024 GLOW Global cohort experience. Abigail is a STEM student at United States International University Africa. She decided to apply for the cohort to amplify her impact within her community and to further develop her advocacy and leadership skills. Meet GLOW Global cohort member Selina Atarah from Ghana as she reflects on her 2024 GLOW Global cohort experience. Selina is a current student at the United States International University-Africa studying pharmacy. She joined the GLOW global cohort to be part of a supportive sisterhood that fosters personal and professional development. Selina is passionate about public health which led her to create Shea Tales, an initiative to empower rural women to produce market-standard shea butter.
