Tonight begins Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement. May all of our Jewish residents and team members who are observing this holiday have an easy fast and a good seal in the Book of Life.

Hurricane Milton has now passed by our communities. We're thankful to the many team members and our partner communities who made it possible for us to safely continue to care for the residents we serve. The communities in Bradenton, Daytona Beach, Jacksonville, St. Petersburg and Sarasota that evacuated will remain evacuated until it is safe to return. Residents and team members are safe and doing well. Special thanks to Legacy Pointe at UCF in Orlando, Lutheran Haven in Oviedo, Mease Life in Dunedin, Oak Hammock at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Orlando Senior Health Network's Orlando Lutheran Towers, Penney Retirement Community in Green Cove Springs, The Ponce Therapy Care Center in St. Augustine, and the rest of the Westminster family, who are hosting residents from throughout the organization. We will continue to provide updates on our website, as we work to restore communities from Hurricane Milton and make our plans to bring residents home: https://lnkd.in/ey3qB-4v

How about a '50s-style sock hop to really make your evening fun? At Westminster Canterbury, an affordable Rental Retirement Community in Daytona Beach, residents made it a day for the ages! The event was hosted by Westminster St. Augustine, a Life Plan Community in nearby St. Augustine, and the team decorated the event hall and brought live music. They also brought snacks, root beer floats, socks donated by Trilogy, and some amazing dance moves! The residents had a wonderful time dancing and enjoying root beer floats. Did you do the Boogie?
