At the heart of every university is a beloved mascot. On September 25th, the University of California, Merced debuted "Rufus," a stunning bronze bobcat sculpture created by the talented artist Dan Medina! 🐾 Standing just over 18 feet tall, this incredible art installation is the result of a collaborative effort between our team, the design team comprised of Pelton Wylie + Fahrney Engineering, Inc., and Pezzoni Engineering, and UC Merced. Our work included a topographic survey, permitting plans, and construction admin support.
