We had a wonderful time at the Maryland International Film Festival this weekend. Proud to celebrate our first animation teacher, Camille O., whose high school class had their film accepted! Honored to be in great company with Dr. Kalima Young from Towson University Dept. of Electronic Media and Film (EMF) and Riley Heath from University of Maryland Baltimore County.

We stand with all federal employees impacted by these uncertain times. They are an important part of our community - filling the roles of Board members, parents of our youth, funding partners, and more. As an organization, we recognize the challenges they face at this time—not only in their careers but also as parents and community leaders. We’re grateful for this step toward protecting workers and appreciate the leadership advocating on their behalf.
I applaud the U.S. District Court’s decision to issue a temporary restraining order, stopping the firings of thousands of hardworking Marylanders and requiring those previously fired employees to be reinstated. The actions of the Trump administration illegally deprived these workers of their livelihoods and has left other federal employees and their families fearful of what will come next. -Brooke
