At Wild Rye we are committed to being at the forefront of supporting women in sport and the outdoors, which is why we're head-over-heels to support this year's FIRST EVER women's competition at Red Bull Rampage. We'll be onsite reporting from behind the scenes with our favorite outdoor comedian Katie Burrell, giving everyone a glimpse behind the curtain of what goes into preparing for such an adrenaline-fueled event....while keeping it REAL, Wild Rye style. 8 years. Happy Birthday to my older baby, Wild Rye 🎂🎉⚡️🍾💛 I can’t believe it’s been 8 years since we launched this little brand with a four piece collection hoping to transform an industry. There are endless things I’m proud of and (more than) a few things I’ve royally f*ed up but let’s focus on the positive, shall we? Since 8 also happens to be my favorite number, here are the top 8 things I’m most proud of in this moment: 1) this incredible crew of some of the smartest, wittiest, hardest-working, passionate and fun individuals I get to call the Wild Rye team 2) having helped thousands of women find comfort and confidence through technical outdoor clothes that actually fit our bodies 3) the $40,000+ and counting that we’ve raised to fight for our right to reproductive healthcare 4) having brought together 800+ women led brands through our Women-Led Wednesday initiative with the ultimate goal of creating a more gender-balanced economy 5) the incredible partnerships we’ve built - from retailers and organizations to events, incredible humans and other like minded brands 6) our pro team of ambassadors who embody not only bad-assery in their sport but also in their communities as advocates, change-makers, mothers, sisters and friends 7) actually starting to feel like we’re transforming the above mentioned industry 8) so many things yet to come… including a collab launching in March 2025 that I’ve dreamed of and manifested for the last 8 years. iykyk 😜 As I look back at this list, 99.9% of what I’m most proud of comes down to PEOPLE. Loving what I do, being passionate about why we’re doing it and above else, the people with whom I get to do it all. I’m so dang lucky. Thank you to all my people for being on this journey with me. Cheers to the next 8 years. 🫶
