Big shout-out to our incredible team of surfers, partners, and ocean advocates who joined forces at the Lexus #USOpenOfSurfing for our beach cleanup last week. This is what community looks like when we come together for a cause! During our morning cleanup alone, we united over 75 dedicated volunteers, and together we removed more than 30 lbs of trash and hundreds of microplastics from our shores, making a real impact in protecting our precious marine ecosystem. ¡Feliz Día Mundial de los Manglares! Recientemente, Caloncho se unió a WILDCOAST, una organización dedicada a la conservación de ecosistemas costeros y marinos y a Las Guardianas del Conchalito, un grupo de mujeres locales que junto con WILDCOAST trabajan para proteger la reserva de manglares "El Conchalito" en La Paz. Con entusiasmo, recorrió los manglares y comentó que "la música es un gran vehículo para compartir temas importantes". Durante su visita, Caloncho, acompañadode su familia y su equipo, fue recibido cálidamente por las guardianas quienes le platicaron cómo empezaron su trabajo de conservación mientras y como este trabajo cambió positivamente sus vidas. https://lnkd.in/gbjNKikd
