The WILDCOAST team is beyond grateful for the power of community and collaboration! 💙 With the support of local leaders, partners, and dedicated residents, we’ve just installed our second trash boom in Matadero Canyon, Tijuana. Together, we’ll capture 80,000 pounds of plastic each year, preventing it from polluting our rivers and oceans. This project is more than waste collection—it’s about empowering local communities and protecting wildlife. We are so thankful for everyone making this possible, from our amazing partners like Culligan International and Pure Project to the citizens intercepting plastic before it reaches the sea! 🌊

Wondering why these photos have a spooky vibe?🚨 Olive ridley sea turtles lay their eggs at night, and our team uses red lights to monitor their nests—since red is less disruptive than white light!

Our WILDCOAST team came together from across Mexico and California for an unforgettable team-building retreat on Vargas Island, British Columbia. We overcame a challenging hike, worked together to solve problems, and kayaked through stunning waters. The highlight? Spotting whales that migrate south to the very breeding lagoons we protect! This experience deepened our connection to nature and strengthened our collaboration as we work to safeguard the U.S. and Latin America's coastal ecosystems. A big thank you to our dedicated team and Cedar Coast for hosting this incredible journey!
