David Kupka currently Counsel, is appointed National Partner in Willkie's Antitrust & Competition department. This will be effective January 1, 2024. David joined Willkie in 2015 and has more than ten years of experience. The appointment of David, who practices between Brussels and Paris, strengthens Willkie's French-speaking Antitrust & Competition team, which today has 8 lawyers and is led by Faustine Viala. He regularly advises on complex and strategic merger control cases before the European Commission and the French Competition Authority as well as on cases of anti-competitive practices (agreements and abuse of dominant position) and in compensation disputes (private enforcement). David advises both industrial clients and investment funds. His practice encompasses numerous sectors of activity including transport, chemicals, agri-food, basic industry and distribution.
