Our team recently attended the 2025 TRANSPORTATION ENGINEERS ASSOCIATION OF MISSOURI (TEAM) Conference in St. Louis. Wilson & Company staff had the opportunity to network with other industry professionals. Celebrating World Water Day! 💧 Today, we highlight the importance of clean water and raise awareness of the 2.2 billion people worldwide without access to it. Our project in Walsh, CO, showcases innovative solutions for clean water. In 2019, Walsh faced an enforcement order when their water source exceeded the allowed nitrate levels, compromising local water quality. During the investigation, radium contamination was also found. Working within the town’s financial constraints, Wilson & Company implemented Ion Exchange as the optimal solution, using exchange resin in a unique way. This project ensured safe water for Walsh and demonstrates Wilson & Company's commitment to sustainable water solutions. Erik Peterson, EIT and Reed Meriwether recently presented this project at the Colorado Rural Water Association’s 44th Annual Conference and Exhibition.
