Our Salt Lake City office hosted WTS-Northern Utah Chapter for this month's Lunch N' Learn. Amy Bean-Cook, PE, spoke on 'Power Statements: Advocating for Yourself,' teaching the group how to create power statements to use in proposals, client conversations, and self-advocacy. The Wilson & Company team loved getting to know colleagues from Utah Transit Authority, Horrocks, J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc., and David Evans and Associates, Inc. Celebrating the advancements in aviation that keep us soaring✈️🗺️ Aerial mapping has revolutionized the way we interpret and interact with our environment. In our early days, we employed crewed aircraft to capture black-and-white film imagery for use in photogrammetric mapping and orthophotography. Today, Wilson & Company uses both crewed aircraft and uncrewed aerial systems (UAS) to capture high-accuracy digital lidar and imagery for a variety of applications, including urban planning, roadway and energy transmission design, airfield obstruction analysis, utility research, and water management. #AviationDay #geospatial 

Wilson & Company recently hosted our first-ever Olympic Games, inspired by Paris 2024! As part of our Wellness Program, we launched a two-week step competition that spanned across all our offices, bringing together around 200 eager participants. Together, we walked a staggering 24 million steps! We are committed to health, wellness, and community, and we hope the steps continue throughout the year. Beyond the steps, our teams also enjoyed trivia challenges, a costume contest, and various Olympic-themed events. The costume contest was a standout success, and our employees showcased their creativity (and Photoshop skills) in style! 📸 Check out some photos of our participating teams! This past month, several of our Loveland-based team members enjoyed a walking tour of the new Centerra Loveland Mobility Hub hosted by WTS Northern Colorado! 🎉🌟 Wilson & Company's Sara Weier, a volunteer with WTS Colorado, presented and helped organize the event. It was a great opportunity to connect with colleagues, explore the exciting developments in our community’s transportation infrastructure, and enjoy some lively conversation.
