Of the 251 units in the building, 117 are fewer than 500 square feet, creating an attainable rent level for young professionals who desire to live alone in a prime location. Discover the story behind our property names!   Naming a Wingspan Development Group property is done with great thought, care, and a bit of fun. Brainstorming sessions consider the project vision, location, and specific characteristics or circumstances of the property before a list of options is developed, and a winner is chosen.   The naming of Buckingham Place, located in Des Plaines, IL, was a nod our vice president of development, CHRIS COLEMAN, M.B.A. Prior to joining our team, Chris was the founder of a company he named Dearborn-Buckingham Group, referencing the Clarence Buckingham Memorial Fountain (commonly known as Buckingham Fountain) in Chicago.
