For National Cooking Day, we’re thrilled to share a recipe that’s perfect for family dinners, quick lunches, or entertaining guests: Grilled Chicken di Napoli featuring our Skinner® Bow Ties! This dish combines tender grilled chicken with a rich tomato basil sauce for a flavorful meal that’s sure to impress. Grilled Chicken di Napoli Recipe Ingredients: • 12 oz Skinner® Bow Ties • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts • 1 tsp salt • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper • 1 jar (24 oz) tomato basil pasta sauce • Shredded Parmesan cheese Cooking Directions: 1. Prepare the Skinner® Bow Ties according to the package directions; drain and set aside. 2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Grill or broil until lightly browned and fully cooked. Once done, slice the chicken into thin strips. 3. In a medium saucepan, heat the tomato basil pasta sauce. Serve the pasta topped with the warm sauce and sliced chicken. Add a sprinkle of shredded Parmesan cheese for that finishing touch. This recipe is not only simple and quick but also incredibly delicious – perfect for any occasion! Winland Foods North East: Celebrating Our Biggest Company Picnic Yet! At Winland Foods, we believe in more than just great products—we believe in great people. This year, more than 900 of our employees and their families gathered at Erie’s own Waldameer Park to celebrate the biggest company picnic in our history. From the thrill of the Ravine Flyer II to the joy of a classic soda float, smiles were everywhere. Despite a forecast of rain, the skies stayed clear, giving everyone a perfect day to enjoy the rides, wave pool, and water slides. The picnic wasn’t just about fun; it was about giving back to our team. Amazing prizes—from bonus days off to big-screen TVs—everyone went home a winner! And of course, what’s a picnic without the classics? Hot dogs, burgers, ox roast, and ice cream kept everyone fueled for a day of family fun. In Remembrance of September 11, 2001 Today, we pause to remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the countless acts of heroism on that fateful day. We honor the nearly 3,000 men, women, and children whose lives were tragically cut short, and we express our deepest gratitude to the first responders who ran toward danger without hesitation. 9/11 reminds us of the strength that emerges in times of adversity, the resilience of the human spirit, and the importance of unity. American Italian Pasta Company, a proud member of Winland Foods family, are thrilled to have participated in the Excelsior Springs School District Back-to-School Resource Fair. It was an incredible event where over 300 backpacks filled with school supplies were distributed to ESSD families. The fair offered a wide range of essential resources, from health care to social-emotional support, financial planning, employment assistance, and more. Thanks to the generosity of our team and the community, we were able to ensure every pre-K student received the supplies they needed, making a huge difference! This was the 8th year of this remarkable event, and the turnout was nothing short of amazing. We are deeply grateful to everyone who attended, volunteered, and donated.
