  • Hate to break it to the Gantt chart nerds out there, but a PE value creation plan doesn't have to be uber-complex. The practical guide to creating a value creation plan for a new investment: ① VALUE DRIVER: Which value driver are we focused on driving? Retention? Expansion? New logos? Pricing? New products? Margin expansion? ② OBJECTIVE: What specifically are we trying to achieve? Eg. "Increasing _____ from ___ to ____ by _____ date." ③ WINNING MOVES: What specifically we'll do to make that objective come true? Should be actionable. (Plenty of these in the book!) ④ INDICATORS: The indicators, metrics, key results we'll monitor and manage to. #ValueCreation #PrivateEquity
