We’re still feeling energized from this powerful conversation on the value of Measurement-Based Care (MBC) in eating disorder treatment. A huge thank you to Project HEAL’s Carsen Rhys Beckwith for hosting such an insightful session, alongside expert panelists Dr. Wendy Oliver-Pyatt from Within Health and Greenspace’s Jesse Lee Hayman. The discussion shed light on the urgent need for better support and improved outcomes in eating disorder treatment, and the clinical impact of MBC on clients and clinicians. The panelists shared real-world examples where MBC has enhanced treatment quality and helped drastically improve patient outcomes. Check out these highlights for a glimpse into the key moments and takeaways from the session. Thank you to everyone who joined us live—many attendees left feeling more confident in the power of MBC and excited to bring it into their own practices. Grief and eating disorder recovery often intertwine in complex, deeply personal ways. Next month, join us for a free, online workshop as we explore the deep and often overlooked intersection of grief and disordered eating. Together, we’ll examine how different types of loss—whether a loved one, identity, or sense of control—can impact a person’s relationship with food and body, and complicate the recovery journey. Designed for behavioral health professionals, this session will delve into the nonlinear nature of grief, its effects on the brain, and how attachment styles shape the way we grieve and cope. Attendees will walk away with practical tools, compassionate strategies, and greater insight into supporting clients through grief in the context of eating disorder recovery. Body shaming can happen in all sorts of environments—especially the workplace. In a world where unrealistic beauty standards and misleading health messages are deeply ingrained, it's easy for these harmful ideas to seep into professional spaces, whether we realize it or not. As colleagues, leaders, team members, and collaborators, we all have a responsibility to foster an environment where every person—regardless of their body shape or size—feels valued, supported, and empowered. Creating a workplace that prioritizes inclusivity not only helps individuals thrive but also strengthens the entire organization. Learn more about the impact of body shaming and how it can contribute to eating disorders in our latest blog post:
