🌲 Attending the National Park Friends Alliance conference in breathtaking Yosemite National Park has been an unforgettable experience! Over 300 passionate park professionals are here to connect and explore innovative approaches to supporting our national parks. I am incredibly honored to meet new peers and reconnect with past colleagues who are passionate about connecting people to parks. 🪄 Just a few key highlights included a tour by Yosemite Conservancy and NatureBridge Yosemite of the new Environmental Science Center, an engaging address by National Park Service Director Charles Sams, learning about the Department of Interior's priorities for Indigenous Connections from Dorothy FireCloud and her team, and impact updates from the National Park Foundation. And there were many more with yet another day to go! 🙏🏼 It is the ultimate blessing to share this experience with my incredible Western National Parks Association team as we create memories and valuable insights together. Thank you, Christine Horvath, CFE, CICA, CCEP, Lauren Mooney, Michael Matthews, and Bret Muter, for showing up, engaging, and representing the heart of our mission. 💚 ⚠️ Adventure nerd alert - Watching climbers scale El Capitan was awe-inspiring! 🧗🏼
