🧠🎶 With music's ability to convey emotion and affect your mood, it feels like a natural connection to pair music releases with mental health initiatives. That's exactly what rising Zimbabwean pop star Ananya is doing! Her latest song "Happy" captures the reality of happiness and sadness coexisting - its music video, arriving next week on World Mental Health Day, will support the Nani Wellness Project, a non-profit co-founded by Ananya. One week from today I have the honor of being on the stage with Shakira Johnson and Catherine McGuire (Mesly) to discuss building #impact for #events. Since I just looked over our session outline, here are some nuggets of what you can expect. 1. Tangible insights from field learnings - That's right. We are not doing vague. We are each committed to sharing our lived experience in the spirit of enrichening all of us. 2. Opportunity to ask your burning questions - We have intentionally built in time for audience q & a because we want to hear from you but more importantly, we want to learn from you. 3. A mixture of sugar and spice. As we have gotten to know each other thanks to the Tahira Endean, MsC, CITP, CMP, CED partnering us together, I love that collectively we are smart, humorous. Bonus. Our compass is positive intent we each strive to live out #grace daily. Am I excited?100%. Do I want you to join us? Absolutely. Oh, and bonus to continue our journey together, you can join all three of us at the community table after the formal session concludes. As always thank you to the IMEX team for curating an experience that is intentional every single step of the way. I am thankful to be included. See everyone in Vegas next week! #imex2024 #ilovemyjob #grateful #eventplanner #leader #publicspeaker #storyteller
