WLP Chief Executive Officer Jennifer Hanlon Wigon and Governor Maura Healey at a recent event hosted by former WLP Board Member Michelle McGee. At the event, Governor Healey acknowledged the many challenges our guests face while also highlighting the positive aspects of the landscape––such as the recently signed Affordable Homes Act, which will build or save 65,000 homes through $5.1 billion in authorizations and 49 policy initiatives. We are grateful for the Governor’s support of healthy meals and nutrition for vulnerable citizens, as well as her office's focus on housing and women’s rights. Thank you to Janice Hayes-Cha for snapping the photo!

"As you see people sleeping on benches, bundled up in doorways, on grates, and in alleyways, know that everyone can help find a home for them. And what a difference a home can make. We honor thousands of women when we support a broad range of housing solutions and services."
