We condemn genocide in #Gaza. Today marks 1 year since Israel began intensified military violence in Gaza. Girls and women are exposed to increased risk of violence. Malnutrition is widespread, particularly among pregnant and breastfeeding people. And there is a severe shortage of menstrual health supplies. As an organization that aspires to be feminist, we commend those countries that have made feminist foreign policy commitments. If these countries have made such pledges, then they should immediately speak out against genocide and halt their military support to Israel. We call for an immediate ceasefire. On this #WorldTeachersDay and every day, we celebrate their work in the classroom and beyond! 👏

In Sudan: 🚨1.63 million girls and women of reproductive age lack access to adequate health care services. 🚨Over 160,000 of them are pregnant, with 54,000 births expected in the next three months. Crises disproportionately affect girls, women, and gender-diverse people. Their health and rights must be protected. We stand with the people of Sudan and join the call for immediate peace dialogues. Summit of the Future: Progress or more empty promises? 🤔 Despite high hopes, the United Nations #SOTF outcomes lacked: ❌ Comprehensive SRHR commitments, instead using decades-old language. ❌ Genuine and transparent inclusion of civil society inputs into the final docs. 
 ❌ Clear climate actions from the Global North

Safe abortion access is a fundamental human right. 🗳️ 2024 is one of the biggest electoral years in recent history, with over half of the global population voting. The outcomes will impact the lives of girls, women, and gender-diverse people around the world. It's crucial that sexual and reproductive health and rights are prioritized on political agendas. This #SafeAbortionDay 💚 and every day, we call on governments to uphold human rights by recognizing everyone’s legal right to sexual and reproductive health care services – particularly for adolescents, who shouldn’t need anyone else’s say-so to get an abortion or other care.

The stories we tell can shift public opinion, fuel movements, and influence policy 💡 Narratives are not neutral — they either disrupt or reinforce current power structures.
