We know that surfing is expensive (normally $200+ a lesson), so this Sunday we're offering a tiered donation basis starting at $75! In our continuous mission to empower more women in the outdoor space, Wondery Outdoors is excited to announce that we are doing our first round of seed funding! We are looking to raise up to $3M, and we would love for you to become a part of our community. Here are just a couple of highlights of Wondery throughout the years: 🧗♀️ Startup: We are Asian-owned and women led! For almost 8 years, we've raised money traditionally (friends and family, short term loans, etc.). We're also a small team of 15! 💰 Profitability: We've tripled our revenue from 2022 to 2023 while increasing profitability! 🏬 Traction: We're in stores such as REI, Backcountry, Scheels, Uncommon Goods, Sierra, Paper Source, multiple National Parks, and hundreds of boutique stores. We also have over 285k followers across all of our platforms! 📺 Virality: Our Bucket List bottle and Isabel pants have gone super viral! One of our bottle videos alone accumulated over 38M+ views and we have repeatedly sold out 👭👭 Community: We have a passionate Community team, dedicated solely to helping outdoor nonprofits like Brown Girls Climb, LLC, Sending in Color, Latino Outdoors, Outdoor Asian, Queer Crush Climbing, Brave Trails, Lagartijas, and many more to raise money, events, and awareness 🚶♀️ Walk-the-Talk: To get women and other underrepresented communities outside, we not only sponsor but ensure to host events each quarter, ranging in size from 20 to 200+ attendees! We just emerged from a rebrand glow-up (made possible by our supremely talented friends at Monday Creative Inc ) and are hitting the pavement, mountain faces, and hiking trails to share our belief that the great outdoors should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their background or experience. While a lot has changed, we're still putting our money where our mouth is to make real changes in the outdoor space. Here are some of the ways we'll keep showing up: 🤝 Team up with nonprofits (like Black Girls Trekkin, LADIES CLIMBING COALITION, and Queer Crush Climbing to name a few) and support their excellent programming that's already happening in the wild 🏕 Develop and host purpose-driven, inclusive workshops and community events because there’s a lot that gets between historically underrepresented people (like women of color, immigrants, and mothers) and green spaces 💪 Make gear that goes any pace and is available in extended sizing (XXS - 6XL) to support our customers at any point in their outdoor journeys 🌝 A femme-dominated team driven by women in leadership across all facets of the Wondery Outdoors operation ( 💅 bc who run the world?)
