Senior Technical Leader Dr. Joshua P. Boltz has co-authored The Water Research Foundation (WRF) Project 5130 report, Advancement in Continuous-Flow Densified Sludge System Design and Operation! The WRF Project 5130 report presents state-of-the-art process design and modeling of continuously flowing WWT processes that accumulate aerobic granules by biological and physical selectors. After connecting service to a resort area, customers were experiencing frequent water pressure loss, leaving Public Water Supply District No. 2 (PWSD #2) with a mystery to solve. After manual monitoring and booster pumps failed to fix the issue, the team turned to us for a smarter solution. Enter an IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) device that remotely tracks water flow in real-time. With this innovative technology, we could quickly pinpoint the cause, eliminate unnecessary equipment, and restore reliable water pressure—all while saving time and costs!
