Our success at Worthington Steel begins and ends with our people, and first and foremost, that means keeping our people safe. In that spirit, our chief operations officer and director of environmental, health & safety and sustainability, Jeff Klingler and Demetri Michaelides, recently presented at MSCI’s Safety Summit 2024 to share our SafeWorks program. We’re proud to be part of MSCI’s Zero Harm, Safety Always initiative to share our progress and to learn from others. We all benefit by learning how to improve our safety cultures. #ZeroInjuries #GoalisZero #DrivingSteelForward

Our quarterly Green Star compressed air challenge resulted in nearly 70 identified improvement projects worth more than 5 million kilowatt-hours in electricity savings! While our facility teams begin working on these action items, they’re also kicking off their Q2 fiscal 2025 Water Balance Challenge aimed at developing a baseline water balance chart for each of our facilities. Then, they will identify two water conservation improvement projects for this fiscal year at each site. Stay tuned for more results from our sustainability efforts this year in our upcoming 2024 Corporate Citizenship and Sustainability Report. #DrivingSustainabilityForward #DrivingSteelForward
