About us
The WVU Cancer Institute is a place of hope – a place where the state’s top doctors and researchers come together to provide compassionate, high-quality care for a brighter tomorrow. At the WVU Cancer Institute, we acknowledge the fear and complexity of cancer, and feel that all people deserve the best treatment available from high-level teams of dedicated professionals. Through a culture of service, respect, inclusivity, and accountability, we are committed to lead the way to better health and wellness with cancer prevention, treatment, and research. That’s our mission – it’s at the core of everything we do. We offer high-quality care coupled with down-to-earth sensibilities that prioritize the patient and their family. Because each patient’s case is different, we have made a tremendous investment in our medical and professional staff in order to provide greater access to specialists treating specific kinds of cancers. As part of an academic medical center, we have created an environment that brings our clinicians and scientists together to find the best outcomes for our patients.
