About us

Youth America Grand Prix (YAGP) is the world’s largest dance family - and the #1 source of young dance talent for dance schools and companies worldwide. YAGP is a 501(C)(3) non-profit education organization that fulfills its mission of ensuring the future of dance by providing scholarship, education and professional development opportunities to talented young dancers, ages 9-19, of all nationalities and all ethnic, social or economic backgrounds. It is the world’s largest student ballet scholarship audition and a global network of dance, connecting the world’s leading dance schools, companies, artists, dance professionals and dance students. In 24 years of operations, more than $4.5 million USD has been awarded at YAGP in scholarships to the world’s leading dance schools. More than 200,000 dancers have participated in YAGP’s workshops, scholarship auditions and master classes worldwide. Over 450 YAGP alumni are now dancing with 80 companies around the world. To identify promising young dance talent, YAGP conducts auditions at 30 locations in the United States, and in Australia, Argentina, Brazil, China, France, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Philippines, Spain and other regions.
