Internship at Yalta European Strategy, Kyiv, Ukraine June 1 - September 26, 2025 Yalta European Strategy (YES) is looking for an intern to assist in the organization of YES events. The intern will assist in the organization of events to be held in 2025, including the YES Annual Meeting and other side projects. We offer: an opportunity to gain experience in international environment assisting in the organization of the above mentioned events; an opportunity to familiarize oneself with Ukrainian politics and key stakeholders in the country and wider region; letter of recommendation upon successful completion of the internship Internship tasks: administrative support of events (working with documents, invitations, databases of invitees); communication with participants and speakers (e-mail communication and follow-up calls); contributing to the concepts of future events, writing reviews, drafting schedules and briefings for upcoming events; other tasks upon request of the management team Requirements: fluency in English is essential; command of Ukrainian is desirable; excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to work in a team, and meet tight deadlines; experience in organizing large public events, project management skills; proficiency with PC, excellent command of MS Excel & Word (knowledge of the online platform Airtable would be an advantage); relocation to Kyiv is necessary for July-September Terms and conditions: full time responsibilities working remotely and from the office in central Kyiv must be available to work throughout June-September 2025 We strongly encourage all those interested, both from Ukraine and abroad, to apply. Yalta European Strategy (YES) and Victor Pinchuk Foundation is looking for Event Manager who will support the execution of numerous international events in winter 2025. This is a temporary three-month role requiring strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines. We are looking for someone to take responsibility for: • Producing detailed proposals for events (including timelines, venues, suppliers, legal obligations, staffing and budgets); • Managing and coordinating suppliers and all event logistics (for example, venue, catering, travel); • Handling budgeting and invoicing; • Liaising and negotiating with vendors; • Managing branding and communication; • Developing, implementing and managing events; • Supervising of set up, catering, security, sound and audiovisual rental needs, etc.; • Supervising and coordinating the activities of the team, subcontractors and staff during the project Requirements: • 3+ years event management experience, including experience of planning & estimations, high level and detailed estimations, roadmaps, budgets (practical experience in high-level events with 500+ persons will be a plus); • Willingness for foreign business trips; • Risk management experience; • Strong organizational, leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines; • Proficiency in English; other languages are an asset; • Flexibility to work extended hours as needed, especially near the event date.
