Ricole is a well-known figure in the Frederick arts community, starting his journey in 2003 with the YMCA's Before and After-School program to support his passion for music and studio time. Over the years, he’s made a name for himself as a hip-hop artist, joined the rock band daMOOD, and co-founded the trip-hop duo Bikes—all while remaining a dedicated presence at the YMCA of Frederick County. After 20 years with the Y, Ricole has built strong relationships with coworkers and youth alike, who see him as a role model in the arts. In June, he stepped into the role of Y Art Center Site Director, a natural fit given his extensive experience in both youth mentorship and the local art scene.

YMCA staff had a great time meeting the community, providing information on programs and services, and of course, giving away some goodies (popcorn and bananas). We are so glad to be a part of the Frederick County community. Thanks to the Frederick County Sheriff's Office and the Frederick Police Department for putting on such a great National Night Out event!
