  • Diabetes is a challenging condition that can often leave individuals feeling isolated. The Y proudly supports those who are at risk for developing diabetes and offers a space for our members to feel supported with friends who are going through the same challenges. The YMCA’s Diabetes Prevention Program helps participants achieve healthy eating, regular physical activity and modest weight loss—all of which have shown to reduce the risk of developing type 2 diabetes.
