Childhood Obesity Awareness Month Tip of the Day: Eat as a family as frequently as possible. Involve kids in meal planning, preparation and clean up. In addition, adults should take a break from electronics and spend one-on-one time each day with their kids. #WeCare

With the conclusion of our 2024 Training Camp, we are proud to announce that $75,000 was raised from ticket sales and will be donated to the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis! These proceeds will benefit their new flag football program, continuing the mission of making the game accessible to all. With leagues at 10 locations, the proceeds will benefit their program for this year and years to come.

The game is on with the new Checkmate Youth Engagment Club! The OrthoIndy Foundation YMCA is partnering with Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD) and local teens for a special club featuring chess, checkers and meaningful mentorship. This free club is open to all teens interested in learning, playing and building lasting connections with IMPD officers and peers.
