Thank you to Cars for Kids™ for Kids for donating a vehicle to the YMCA of the USA's Safety Around Water program! 🚐💙 This generous gift is truly driving change in our community. Cars for Kids is an incredible organization that turns donated vehicles into support for our community. Their generous contribution will help us directly bring lifesaving water safety education to under-resourced communities where it’s most needed. With drowning rates for Black and Brown children four times higher than for their white counterparts, this van will expand our reach and save even more lives. This partnership is a great fit—demonstrating how organizations can work together to create lasting community impact. If your company is looking for ways to give back, the YMCA offers many opportunities to align your mission with programs that strengthen the community. Raul E. About us
The YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas is the largest human care organization in Dallas, established in 1885. The Dallas YMCA consists of 16 branches and two camps, Camp Grady Spruce and Collin County Adventure Camp. The Dallas YMCA serves seven counties and operates an additional 90 program sites. With a mission to put Christian values into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all, our impact is felt when an individual makes a healthy choice, when a mentor inspires a child and when a community comes together for the common good.
