Americans observe National Hispanic Heritage Month every September 15th through October 15th, by celebrating the histories, cultures, and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America. The day of September 15th is significant because it is the anniversary of independence for many Latin American countries. This year, to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, we organized a challenge on our internal engagement platform, encouraging employees to learn about the history and culture of Hispanic Heritage Month. On another day, our HQ office sweetened the celebrations by bringing in Pan Dulce, allowing everyone to try a traditional treat, adding a delicious way to celebrate.

Gentlemen… Nope! Ladies… start your engines! Today was an amazing day for Girl Scouts of Central Indiana to explore Motorsports and so many of the careers available for them in this space. A very special thank you to Kellymoss Inc , Yokohama Tire Corporation, Women in Motorsports North America, and all of the other organizations that made this day possible for our girls. Pippa Mann took time out of her day to coach the girls on simulators, talk to them about her career, and just talk to them. When Lyn St. James stopped by to say hi, I might have fan-girled just a little. And then for the girls to meet Loek Hartog before he went out for his race, see him win his race, and then end the day celebrating his victory, that was just icing on the cake. What a day these Girl Scouts had. And to think…they got this opportunity BECAUSE THEY ARE GIRL SCOUTS! 💪 🏎️ 🏁
