We are excited to announce the new application cycle for Youth Ambassadors of Service's Board! We are seeking results-driven, forward-thinking leaders to join our Board of Directors! High school students drive our mission as a student-led organization—making key decisions, setting the agenda, and turning their passions into impactful projects. We’re looking for mentors who can collaborate with youth in leadership, help us measure community impact, tell compelling stories through data, and guide our fundraising efforts. If you're passionate about youth leadership and have various expertise you'd love to bring to our board, apply now! We are especially looking for: ⭐ Educators ⭐ Parents with governmental backgrounds ⭐ CSR and foundation individuals ⭐ Legal individuals ⭐ Treasurers/CPAs/accountants ⭐ Those who have experience with a chapter/hub model If you fit this category, we would love for you to apply and share your knowledge with us! 💡☀ GivingFest Spotlight: Each year, YAS hosts a Read-A-Thon, in which we aim to foster curiosity and encourage reading throughout the summer! Anyone is welcome to participate from children to teens or adults. This past summer, we were able to support A Place At the Table, and raised over $7,000 to contribute to a mural on their back wall! The summer before, we supported Book Harvest, raising $3,400 to sponsor a culturally inclusive book box outside of El Futuro, a mental health clinic for Latino families, so children can have stable access to books! 📣 Our Read-A-Thon is just one of the plethora of initiatives we support.
