She is currently the Director of Real Estate and Construction at The Dog Stop, an award-winning, all-inclusive dog care facility. Megan's guiding principle is "service," focusing on serving franchisees first, ensuring their success. She believes if franchisees succeed, the entire system benefits. Her goal is to empower franchisees to grow, reinvest, and build legacies. Megan credits her service-oriented mindset to her upbringing, especially her mother’s involvement in community service and her father's entrepreneurial spirit. She learned the importance of helping others and has applied these values to her career in franchising. At The Dog Stop, Megan is passionate about providing a well-rounded experience for pets through multiple revenue streams (e.g., grooming, daycare, boarding). Welcome Aboard: Crust Pizza Crust Pizza, an Australian gourmet pizza chain, was founded in 2001 by Costa Anastasiadis and his business partner Michael Logos in Sydney. The idea behind Crust Pizza was to fill a gap in the market for premium, high-quality pizzas that offered more than the standard fast-food options. Anastasiadis and Logos were inspired by their Mediterranean heritage and the emerging trend of healthier, more gourmet food choices. They sought to create pizzas that used fresh, high-quality ingredients, innovative toppings, and artisanal preparation methods. Crust Pizza positioned itself as a more upscale alternative to the traditional pizza chains, appealing to foodies and those looking for a more refined dining experience. The chain quickly grew in popularity due to its unique focus on gourmet, healthier options like gluten-free bases and a variety of vegetarian and vegan toppings. By the mid-2000s, Crust Pizza had expanded rapidly through the franchise model, with stores opening in major cities across Australia. The brand became synonymous with innovation in the pizza market, offering combinations like Moroccan lamb and pesto chicken that were previously unheard of in mainstream pizza outlets. Its success eventually attracted international attention, leading to its acquisition by Retail Food Group in 2012, helping Crust Pizza continue its expansion both locally and abroad. Today, it remains a popular choice for those seeking a premium pizza experience in Australia. What others are saying about: Crust Pizza “My experience with Crust Pizza was exceptional, and I highly recommend it to anyone craving delicious, high-quality pizzas without leaving the comfort of their home. Whether ordering a family meal or a casual gathering, Crust Pizza promises a delightful culinary experience that will leave you wanting more. I look forward to ordering from them again soon!” -Actual Customer Review Right-Fit Franchisees Crust Pizza is committed to growing their franchise system with right-fit franchisees. Welcome Aboard: Donut King Donut King is an iconic Australian franchise that began in 1981, making it one of the first major donut chains in the country. The idea was to bring American-style donuts, which were not widely available in Australia at the time, to the local market. Donut King was founded by Russell Withers, an entrepreneur with a vision to introduce not only delicious donuts but also a fun and casual coffee and snack experience. From its humble beginnings in Sydney, the franchise quickly expanded due to the unique appeal of its pink-themed stores, simple menu, and the novelty of fresh, warm donuts. The brand grew rapidly throughout the 1980s and 1990s, driven by a franchise model that allowed local entrepreneurs to open their own Donut King stores across Australia. A major selling point of the brand was its ability to cater to the growing coffee culture, while offering a wide range of donuts, soft serve ice cream, and hot dogs, making it more than just a donut shop. Donut King became a staple in Australian shopping centers and food courts, solidifying its position as a favorite for both children and adults. Today, the franchise continues to evolve, expanding its menu while retaining the original charm that made it a household name. What others are saying about: Donut King “The cinnamon donuts are made fresh, and are always hot. The staff make great cappuccinos and are always friendly. Highly recommend Donut King!” -Actual Customer Review Right-Fit Franchisees Donut King is committed to growing their franchise system with right-fit franchisees.
