What You’ll Be Doing

  • Client Management & Leadership
    • Serve as Senior Paid Search Leader across a book of business, ensuring account team’s strategic recommendations align to client’s business goals & objectives, forming trusted relationships with senior stakeholders
    • Partner with Leadership to address client and internal escalations and facilitate issue resolution in a timely manner
    • Client Onboarding and Transitions
      • Oversee client onboarding, offboarding or account transitions,
      • Ensure processes are followed for a seamless experience for both clients and internal team members
    • Ensure all accounts are reaching max potential: Bringing new ideas & strategies to clients (Display, 3rd Party Vendors, Etc.), growth opportunities
  • People & Team Management
    • Responsible for timely feedback & coaching of Paid Search team members
    • Evaluate goals & tasks for team, conduct weekly 1:1’s and provide ongoing support
    • Ensure the team is adhering to tasks outlined on their scorecards, effectively managing client relationships and delivering a best-in-class search product for our clients.
    • Responsible for team building & career growth of your team members by setting clear and measurable goals, while providing an effective and ongoing feedback loop through regular status checks.
    • Work with team members to ensure learning/education development
      • Maintain certifications, staying up on industry trends, industry best practices, attending conferences, etc.
  • Support your Pod Leader in operational efforts, processes & procedures that are developed/implemented
    • Ensure processes are adhered to by team members
  • Financial & KPI success: Work with Pod Leader and Directors across the pod to meet financial targets and goals
  • Provide thought leadership and assist in the development & documentation of best practices for improving campaign management efficiencies, within the team & your Pod.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of related paid search work experience, preferably in the Retail or Education vertical
  • 2+ years managing a team of people (ideally 5+ direct reports)
  • Hands-on experience in managing monthly campaign budgets of $500k+
  • Understanding and implementation of competitive reporting: AdGooRoo, The Search Monitor, Compete, Auction Insights.
  • Advanced computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Google Adwords (Fundamentals & Advanced) Certifications, additional certifications a plus.
  • Experience working in Google Analytics
  • Up to ~15% travel- this may fluctuate based on client need

The hiring salary range for this role is $140,000 - $155,000. We also offer an incentive pay program (RevShare) comprising a monthly variable revenue payment opportunity and a discretionary annual performance bonus.

Hiring salaries are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, parity with other team members, and alignment with market data.
