Account Director
The Account Director works with new and existing B2B Global Enterprise customers to address their needs, both resolving problems with current products and identifying opportunities to sell additional ones. This is a great opportunity for an experienced B2B sales professional to work at a forward-thinking company and advance their career.
Your focus will include focused sales efforts with high-value Consumer relationships. The focus for this role will be on what we deem as "Enterprise" accounts, which is accounts with an annual revenue of over $500M. The role also performs servicing of accounts (check-ins, health checks, retrospectives), and general account maintenance (requiring minimal time to complete) referencing customers to appropriate specialist SME roles.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve a new business sales quota in the assigned territory through self-generated leads, or via Marketing-generated leads.
- Prospect and find new business from existing accounts or new accounts in the assigned territory.
- Develop and close business independently by developing interest from IT and business organizations.
- Having a deep understanding of the way businesses operate, and the priorities that drive decisions from the C-level.
- Sell to senior roles within the prospect's IT and marketing/strategy organization.
- Maintain an appropriate sales pipeline to achieve quota, and keep the pipeline updated in Salesforce.
- Produce accurate and timely forecasts.
- Understand the changing business and technology issues and needs that our clients and potential clients face.
- Documents activities and maintains an accurate Pipeline with predictability (3x pipeline)
- You will own the client relationship and position all of our offerings.
Requirements:
- Experience selling to Commercial mid-market or Enterprise B2B accounts in the past.
- Experience selling Atlassian Suite solutions to B2B accounts.
- Experience selling to the C-suite
- 10+ years experience in Enterprise Business to Business Account Management and outbound business development.
- Experience working with Salesforce or other CRM's.
- Strong phone, virtual meeting, and business communication skills (verbal and written a must) as well as organizational skills.
- Ability to build and deliver presentations to your customers
- Highly motivated individual with a competitive personality and strong attention to detail.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or comparable business experience.
- Proven consultative and solutions-based sales abilities.
- Ability to build relationships with clients.
- Knowledge of technology /software products solutions, systems, policies/procedures, and regulations, is preferred.
Travel Requirement: 40-50% required domestic travel.
