Base pay range

$220,000.00/yr - $250,000.00/yr
SundaySky is seeking an experienced Account Director with a successful background in owning and operating the strategy for a named set of enterprise customer accounts. We are looking for a dedicated and results-oriented Account Director with experience working with large, complex organizations that have annual revenues greater than $1 billion and annual contract revenues exceeding $100k.

As an Account Director at SundaySky, you will play a vital role in ensuring the satisfaction and success of our largest accounts. You will be responsible for account retention and driving revenue growth, ultimately helping our clients harness the full potential of our video-powered experience platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Account Retention: Work diligently to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within your assigned accounts to ensure satisfaction, renewal, and long-term partnership.
  • Revenue Growth: Develop and execute strategic account plans aimed at increasing revenue and expanding the usage of SundaySky’s platform within your accounts.
  • Customer Advocacy: Serve as the primary point of contact for your accounts, advocating for their needs within SundaySky and ensuring they receive the highest level of service and support.
  • Account Analysis: Monitor account health, usage, and key performance indicators to proactively address potential issues and identify growth opportunities.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Customer Success and Product.
  • Contract Management: Oversee contract renewals and negotiations.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay informed about industry trends and the competitive landscape to provide your clients with strategic insights and recommendations.
  • Reporting: Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, account plans, and forecasting to provide accurate reporting and forecasting.

Requirements:

Our criteria for choosing the next leader are as follows:

Foundational Requirements

  • 7+ years of account management experience in B2B SaaS companies.
  • Proven experience managing enterprise accounts, including Fortune 300 companies.
  • Strong industry expertise in the Financial Services, Healthcare, and Insurance sectors.
  • BA/BS or equivalent working experience
  • Results-oriented with a proven track record as a top producer
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; highly communicative and independent, while being able to enlist the support of others

Experience with managing large enterprise relationships

  • Ensure customer adoption and value realization of large, enterprise relationships
  • Manage accounts with annual revenues >$1 billion and annual contract value >$100k
  • Engage key contacts and expand to additional stakeholders and influencers
  • Manage complex procurement and legal processes to renew customer contracts
  • Expand adoption of SundaySky by prospecting in new LOBs and growing revenue from the account
  • Develop and execute account plans and organizational maps aimed at retaining and growing business
  • Work closely with Customer Success Managers to improve customer health, increase platform adoption, and identify potential issues

Industry Domain Expertise (Value-add but not a Must-Have)

  • Experience selling value-based capabilities to our ICP & buyer personas
  • Experience selling video capabilities to our ICP
  • Experience selling data-driven personalization capabilities to our ICP
  • Experience selling CX capabilities to our ICP
  • Experience collaborating with CX industry partners for direct sales execution (ie. adobe, salesforce, etc)

Salary range: 220K-250K OTE with 50-50 split (based on the candidate's experience). This is a remote position.
