The role of the Accountant is a critical addition to the Finance/Accounting Team. The Accountant will have significant responsibilities in the monthly and annual general ledger close process and will maintain various reconciliations and reports. This role will work directly with various functional areas of the company and will have a direct impact in maintaining the financial integrity of a growing and exciting organization.

This is a hybrid position based out of our Corporate HQ in Northbrook, IL. This individual will typically work in the office 2 -3 days a week. This role is an Individual Contributor position

A day in the life as an Accountant…

• Performing monthly journal entries and assisting in monthly and annual general ledger closes
• Collaborating with the rest of the team to close each period timely and accurately
• Conducting various account reconciliations and analysis
• Preparing various schedules for audits, tax, or to fulfill other reporting requirements
• Managing and maintaining ad hoc reporting and special projects
• Analyzing monthly and quarterly expenses
• Providing financial reports to various departments or divisions
• Researching accounting issues and providing recommendations
• Providing reporting and analysis on various accounts

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA a plus
• 1+ year previous accounting experience
• Public accounting experience
