About The Role
As an Entry Level Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. Your responsibilities will include processing payroll, maintaining precise financial records, and providing administrative support to the accounting and legal teams. You will assist with KYC banking documentation for the accounting and legal departments, manage the corporate card system, and help review expense reports. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented individual with a foundational understanding of accounting principles and payroll processing.
What You'll Do
Process and manage payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Assist in processing KYC documents with banking institutions.
Help manage the company's corporate card system.
Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts related to payroll.
Support the month-end and year-end payroll closing processes.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll and assist in resolving any discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
Provide support to the accounting team with various administrative tasks as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Experience in accounting and payroll processing is a plus, but not required.
Familiarity with payroll software and accounting systems is preferred.
Basic knowledge of payroll processing and accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
The Pay Range For This Role Is
20 - 24 USD per hour(Utah Corporate)
