Accounting Manager - $140K

Our client, a provider of innovative business solutions, is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team in Princeton, NJ. The Accounting Manager will oversee and manage company accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance in all financial transactions and reporting. This role involves leading the accounting team, preparing financial statements, managing budgets, and ensuring the timely completion of month-end and year-end close processes.

Compensation: up to $140,000

Responsibilities:

• Manage financial accounting functions, including GL, Fixed Asset, AP, AR, Sales and Property taxes, Cost Accounting and Payroll Accounting
• Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements and reports to senior management
• Ensure the accurate and timely processing of financial transaction posting to GL, delivering an accurate and timely month-end close
• Lead the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Proficiency in all aspects of corporate accounting and all pertinent GAAP
• Manage and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA preferred
• 5+ years of hands-on accounting managerial experience
• Strong general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, income tax and banking working knowledge
