Scope of work:
- Experience with business integration / systems migration
- Project management
- Data migration / detailed reconciliation
- Reporting / new process design
- Contribute to short-term and long-term business decisions.
- Provide timely and accurate financial information to leaders, decision-makers, and external stakeholders.
- Protect company assets and ensure financial compliance with international laws.
- Act as a business partner on economic, financial, and fiduciary topics.
- Ensures financial statements and processes are in accordance with IFRS and company policies.
- It requires efficiency, accuracy, attention to detail, collaboration, and strong stakeholder partnerships.
- Hybrid schedule based in the New Jersey office.
- Ensure the integrity of accounting results with the proper application of principles.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing tasks, including journal entries.
- Liaise with stakeholders to understand business processes and resolve issues.
- Prepare account reconciliations and resolve variances timely.
- Guide teams in enhancing revenue controls in the SOX framework.
- Streamline and improve relevant processes.
- Support corporate reporting of financial statement disclosures and handle ad hoc requests.
- Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of principles.
- Expertise in creating financial spreadsheets, charts, and reports.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for all company levels.
- Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with curiosity and quick learning ability.
- Experience in extracting and analyzing financial reports.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial audiences.
- Knowledge of technical accounting and SOX principles.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 5-10+ years in corporate Accounting.
- CPA required.
- Advanced experience with Excel, Tableau, Google Sheets, Oracle Fusion, and SmartView is preferred.
