Center City Philadelphia client seeks a REMOTE Accounting Manager with intuitive understanding of general ledger accounting. This role will be responsible for managing and monitoring and accounting operations for the organization, which include but are not limited to: overseeing accounts payable/receivable transactions, assisting with the month/year-end close process, overseeing general ledger activities, reviewing general ledger activities, preparing monthly financial reports, preparing and managing corporate budgets and forecasts, overseeing the accounting team, and analyzing variances. We are looking for an Accounting Manager with a solid financial analysis skillset, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong understanding of GAAP standards, and the capacity to multi-task while meeting crucial deadlines.

Monitor daily cash receipts
Prepare financial statements/reports
Assist with mortgage settlement processing

Coach and mentor accounting staff
Requirements
The ideal Accounting Manager MUST have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Other requirements for the Accounting Manager role include and are not limited to:
5+ years of progressive general ledger accounting experience
High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications
QuickBooks experience a plus
Knowledge of US GAAP (IFRS knowledge a plus)
