LOCATION:

  • Greensboro NC- Onsite

Why This Role Is Important

  • Oversees the Accounts Payable team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, purchase orders, and payments.
  • Maintains and enforces written policies and procedures for all Accounts Payable operations to ensure compliance.
  • Manages vendor relationships, including setting up vendors, reconciling accounts, processing payments, and handling any issues or discrepancies.
  • Prepares and oversees financial tasks like year-end 1099 statements, wire transfers, ACH payments, and petty cash disbursements.
  • Develops and mentors staff, evaluates performance, and ensures adherence to processes and compliance.
  • Monitors industry trends and regulations to maintain compliance and achieve departmental goals effectively.

The Background That Fits

  • 8+ years of Accounts Payable experience
  • 3+ years of leadership experience within an Accounts Payable team
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration is a plus
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and is a plus
  • Advanced troubleshooting skills across all technologies, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and learn new technology quickly.
