Job Summary:

The Facultative Pricing team is looking for an Actuarial Analyst to join our team in either our New York City office or Stamford, CT. This is a hybrid position working 3 days onsite, 2 remote.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Working closely with other actuaries as well as with underwriters and management.
• Performing transactional actuarial pricing analyses.
• Conducting lines of business studies and profitability reviews.
• Assist in rate monitoring reports.
• Updating model parameters.
  
  
  

Qualifications, Education & Experience:

• 0 - 2 years of P&C actuarial pricing experience – large account or reinsurance pricing a plus.
• SQL, VBA, Python, and/or R experience preferred.
• 2+ actuarial exams and pursuing credentialing in the Casualty Actuarial Society.
  
  
  

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• A business-oriented focus (motivated, self-directed, organized, and analytical).
• Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently.
  
  
  

For NYC Only: The base salary range for this position is $85,000 - $95,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location.
