We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Actuary to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial risks using mathematics, statistics, and financial theory. This role involves creating and managing financial models to assist in decision-making processes related to insurance, pensions, investments, and other financial activities.
Responsibilities
Analyze and evaluate financial risks using statistical and mathematical models.
Develop and implement risk management strategies for insurance, pensions, and investments.
Design and price insurance policies, annuities, and pension plans.
Conduct data analysis to identify trends and project future risks and financial outcomes.
Prepare reports and present findings to stakeholders and senior management.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Collaborate with other departments, such as underwriting, finance, and product development, to provide actuarial support.
Monitor and assess the financial performance of products and make recommendations for improvements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
Relevant professional certification (e.g., ASA, FSA, or equivalent).
Proven experience as an Actuary or in a similar role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in actuarial software and statistical analysis tools.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in the insurance and financial industries.
