We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Security Systems Application Engineer to join our team. As an Application Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting services to our . You will work directly with customers to resolve their technical issues and ensure their systems are functioning optimally. As an Application Engineer, you will be responsible for programming, testing, and commissioning installation of Integrated Security Systems (Access Control, IP/CCTV, Wireless, Intrusion, paging and Intercom), which includes hardware, software, and networking products. The ability to implement the defined scope of work, basic networking, and field support is required.
The primary responsibility of the Application Engineer is to support a team of technicians while performing quality work, customize design, deliver projects on time and under budget. The ideal candidate possesses strong communication and organizational skills to ensure smooth operations. This position is key to enhancing customer satisfaction. As a part of quality control, the Application Engineer effectively manages assigned projects, clients, service requests, including immediate engagement, proper customer communication, escalations, required follow-up, and identification of potential sales leads.
Preferred candidates may have the working knowledge or at least one of the following certifications to apply:
Genetec Certification
Software House Certification
Lenel Certification
Exacq Certification
10-Hour OSHA Card
FASA- BASA Card (If worked in Florida)
JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Optimizing the performance of hardware, software, network products, configurations at customer sites, as well as diagnosing and optimizing product performance.
- Ensures customer satisfaction by training field technicians and customers on systems.
- Responsible for overall project/service field management, including related administration such as timely completion of service reports, expense reports, and weekly time reports.
- Performs necessary programming and commissioning tasks.
- Systems design, remote service, and ongoing support of clients.
- Provides operator training and ongoing support for clients.
- Acts as client liaison to relentlessly drive client issues to resolution.
- Informs management of issues affecting personnel and project performance.
- Consistently meets project goals.
- Presents and always maintains a professional image.
- Integrated systems
- High School Diploma, GED, or Associate Degree
- Ability to shift focus and prioritize work orders daily.
- Working in the field with technicians to improve quality and delivery.
- The AE may be required to provide on-call, after-hours support or work different shifts based on company needs. This may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Travel to client sites to install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
- Provide training and support to end-users
- Collaborate with team members to develop solutions and improve processes
- Document all service activities, including troubleshooting steps and resolutions
