As an Application Support Lead Supervisor/Assoc Manager, you will serve a key function within the engineering organization, supporting internal and external stakeholders across our platform. This is a people-management role that will include 4-6 direct reports and require some on-call responsibilities. We are looking for a creative, innovative problem solver who can also be a vocal leader for the global Application Support team and a mentor for our engineers.

This is a hybrid role; minimum 1 day per week in our Minneapolis office with potential for more.

Essential Duties

• Be the central point-of-contact for issues or inquiries raised by other teams at Datasite (Customer Service, Sales, etc.)
• Organize and run meetings with various stakeholders to find solutions to technical problems and drive process improvements
• Participate in post-incident reviews and manage ongoing risks to the platform
• Craft career paths for individual contributors in various engineering roles
• Improve documentation standards and procedures
• Serve as an on-call resource one week per month
  
  

Qualifications

These skills and experience will stand out:

• 5+ years of professional experience in a software or IT environment such as QA, front end, back end and/or Devops.
• Experience as a people manager
• Proficient with Slack, Teams, and other modern communication tools
• Experience with RESTful API’s
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases (MongoDB preferred)
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and microservice architecture
