  • THIS IS A HR/PAYROLL/SHARED SERVICES PLATFORM CONSILIDATION ARCHITECT PROJECT. EXPERIENCE WITH WORKDAY AND/OR HR/Payroll/ ADP ARE STRONGLY preferred. THE SECOND BEST OPTION IS A SOLUTION ARCHITECT WITH VERY HEAVY PLATFORM CONSOLIDATION EXPERIENCE. THEY REALLY WANT A WORKDAY ARCHITECT WITH IMPLEMENTATION AND INTEGRATION EXPERIENCE.
  • This role will support Shared Services which includes HR/Payroll/Workday / ADP

This position is Workday SOLUTIONS ARCHITECT rather than Infrastructure. It is also Heavy Applications (HR & Payroll) Integration along with Data.

  • We need: A senior Workday architect with great experience and Integration experience in AWS. Candidates need to have good tenure, Long projects with high visibility clints and excellent communication skills. The more certifications the better.
  • Strong knowledge and skills in solution, data and integration architecture; preferred in a corporate technology or back-office environments .

Candidates must be LOCAL to the NEW YORK or NEW JERSEY Midtown, New York City, Long Island, NY, Clevland, OH or Troy, MI area and COMMUTE into the city THREE TIMES A WEEK in Midtown, NYC. NO RELOCATION CONSIDERED.

Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Workday Solutions Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing Workday solutions for our clients. As a Workday Solutions Architect, you will collaborate closely with clients, stakeholders, and technical teams to deliver scalable, efficient, and user-friendly solutions that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and architecture of Workday solutions, including HCM, Payroll, Finance, and other modules, to meet client requirements and business needs.
  • Partner with clients to understand their business processes, goals, and challenges, and translate them into effective Workday solutions.
  • Provide strategic guidance and recommendations on Workday best practices, system integrations, data migrations, and configuration options.
  • Develop and maintain Workday system configurations, business process designs, and integration requirements documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and project managers, to deliver high-quality solutions within scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Conduct workshops, training sessions, and knowledge transfer sessions for clients and internal teams to promote adoption and proficiency in Workday solutions.
  • Stay current on Workday product updates, enhancements, and industry trends to inform solution design and drive continuous improvement.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Workday functionality, capabilities, and configuration options, providing guidance and support to clients and team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Workday certification(s) in HCM, Payroll, Finance, or other modules strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Workday consultant, architect, or similar role, with a focus on solution design, implementation, and optimization.
  • Proven track record of successfully architecting and implementing Workday solutions for medium to large enterprises across multiple industries.
  • Deep understanding of Workday functionality, configuration options, integrations, and data migration strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders, and team members at all levels.
  • Experience working in a consulting environment, managing client relationships, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a passion for continuous learning and professional development.
