The Funds & Information Management Group is also responsible for various analyses and projections in support of the business. Vice Presidents within the Funds & Information Management Group support more senior team members on a variety of recurring tasks, project based work and ad hoc analyses. The successful applicant will have an ability to understand financial information, draw relationships and raise issues or concerns.
Responsibilities
Managing a series of alternative investment funds and related investment vehicles
Facilitating portfolio allocations and investment closing logistics
Monitoring and maintaining compliance with credit facilities
Preparing/writing investor correspondence, fund performance updates and related analyses
Reviewing financial statements and working with fund accountants to resolve questions
Creating management presentations/responding to ad hoc requests and preparing analyses for same
Supporting/furthering technology initiatives related to the above responsibilities
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or other business discipline. CPA or equivalent certification a plus.
5-8 years experience at an accounting firm/private equity firm
Strong analytical skills and detail orientation
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, oral as well as written
Strong coordination and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
Ability to work independently in a small team, exhibit initiative and be proactive
Ability to organize and analyze large volumes of information
Interest in working on technology initiatives
Team player, willing to help in areas not explicitly related to job duties
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
Strong Excel, Word, PowerPoint skills

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $125000-$250000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
