The Department of Business, Accounting, and Economics at Lebanon Valley College invites applications for a full-time, 3-year renewable, assistant or associate professor of marketing and entrepreneurship starting in August 2024. The assistant professor of marketing and entrepreneurship is responsible for teaching a standard academic course load as assigned. The Department currently offers five undergraduate degrees in business (Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Marketing, and International Business), numerous minor concentrations, and an M.B.A. degree. Departmental coursework focuses on building informed perspectives needed by professionals in the global fields of business administration, accounting, marketing, and economics, while stressing the development of critical thinking, creativity, and communications skills.
This position requires a Ph.D. in Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Consumer Behavior, Market Research, or a related field. ABD candidates nearing dissertation completion will be considered. A prior record of teaching excellence in higher education will be strongly considered, with preference given to a record demonstrating experience with traditional and blended delivery. Qualifications to teach courses in additional disciplines such as sports marketing are also highly desirable, along with familiarity in ACBSP business school accreditation standards via a commitment to the assessment of learning outcomes.
