Job Overview

The Assistant, Private Brands Project Management, supports the Principal PMO in the private brands organization to help build our feedback loop and key projects in this role, you will be responsible for collecting, organizing, and managing feedback from various sources to ensure effective communication, help drive decisions and collaboration across the company. A fundamental requirement is their ability to build trust with teams and key collaborators.



What You Will Do


  • Implement a process to collect, review and analyze feedback to identify common trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of feedback received, actions taken, and outcomes achieved.
  • Prepare regular reports or presentations to share feedback insights with team members and management.
  • Proactively seek feedback from team members on the effectiveness of the feedback management system and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Execute corporate reporting for leaders monthly
  • Actively engage in strategies to boost product quality and customer feedback.
  • Prioritize decisions that benefit the company.
  • Influence partners effectively to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Continuously develop professionally through ongoing training and development.
  • Innovate solutions for customer and company challenges.
  • Foster open communication and value constructive debate to bring the best ideas forward.


Skills You Will Need

Self-Starter: Demonstrates the ability to drive forward their own work and analyze potential opportunities for the business independently.

Analytical Skills: Ability to pull and analyze data for evaluating private brands product, making informed decisions and communicating insights clearly through written and verbal means.

Organizational Skills: Proficiency in managing calendars, organizing meetings, and ensuring timely preparation to meet deadlines effectively.

Reporting: Capable of executing corporate reporting for Macy’s leaders and communicating insights clearly through written and verbal means.

Decision Making and Influence: Ability to prioritize decisions for the benefit of the company, influence partners effectively, and tailor messages to gain support and commitment from others.

Innovative Thinking: Proactively seek innovative solutions for customer and company challenges, encouraging creative thinking within the teams.

Risk Taking and Resilience: Comfortable with taking risks and celebrating risk-taking regardless of the outcome. Demonstrates resilience, tenacity, and high energy, able to bounce back rapidly from adversity.

Change Management: Embraces change with realistic optimism, persists through challenges and setbacks caused by change, and encourages the team to adapt to change effectively.

Proficiency in MS Office Suite: Possesses advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite

Strategic Planning: Demonstrates the ability to effectively plan and execute strategies to achieve business objectives.


Flexibility: Adapts to a flexible schedule based on department and company needs.
