Associate Accountant

We are searching for an Assoc. Accountant on behalf of our client. This is 5 months contract assignment.

Location: Juno Beach, FL

Responsibilities

• Assists in researching GAAP, SEC regulations, and relative company policies, practices and procedures.
• Assists in preparing financial reports in a timely manner that are in compliance with GAAP and accurately reflect the financial status of the company.
• Independently prepares schedules and journal entries.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
• Good communication skills, oral and written, are needed.
• Demonstrate a basic understanding of utility accounting and apply utility accounting principles to assigned work.
• Understands and applies appropriate internal controls to ensure accounting integrity of corporate financial data.
