Associate
Morgan Stanley Smith Barney LLC seeks to fill the position of Associate in New York, NY.
Determine required data and campaign solutions and assist in implementation. Document business and technical requirements and processes including data flow, campaign requirements, business rules and use cases. Assist product owner to ensure Agile/Scrum methodology and iterative development principles are adhere to. Clarify business and technical ambiguities to the squad and communicate clearly between stake holders. Facilitate communications across Marketing, Agile squad, Modeling, and data governance to advance product roadmap and turn business requirements into technical document. Provide effective guidance and challenges to campaign data model and implementation method proposed by technology colleagues and squad members. Ensure platforms that support marketing are leveraged properly to scale and optimized in partnership with technical and business counterparts.
Salary: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $106000 and $110000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
Requirements
Requires a Master's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, or related plus two (2) years of experience in the position offered or two (2) years of experience as an Analyst, Associate, or a related occupation. Requires two (2) years of experience with: data analysis, interpretation, and technology solutions for a financial services company; product management; system analysis and process documentation; business process improvement; Agile and Scrum Methodology; operations management; strategic planning including: defining objectives, priorities, and responsibilities; working with stakeholders on product roadmap and building product backlog; driving technical design implementations; mitigating quantitative risk and qualitative risk.
